Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)
Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)
ACP4ME is your Maine connection to apply for a reduced rate for monthly internet service. The Affordable Connectivity Program(ACP) is a $14.2 billion federal program that helps eligible households afford the Internet.
Funded by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), the ACP provides eligible households with a discount of up to $30 per month (up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands) and a one-time $100 discount toward a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet.
There are more than 278,000 households that qualify in Maine, but only 33% of those households have applied for this program.
Households under 200% of the Federal Poverty Level qualify. Households also qualify if family members receive federal benefits including SNAP, Medicare, WIC, SSI, FPHA, and HCV housing program, receive reduced-price school lunch, Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit, or received a Federal Pell Grant in the current award year. Go to ACP4ME to begin your application.
