We are thrilled to announce that our first Smart Growth Breakfast Forum of the 2015 Season was a hit! We convened at the Portland Company last month for a presentation on the proposal and a follow-up panel from experts in the field. Everyone left feeling inspired by the conversation, and had the opportunity to ask the questions we knew they all had.
Haven't heard about our Smart Growth Forums? They are a monthly member-only event throughout Maine where we focus on a specific project, policy area, or interest through the lens of Smart Growth. These events are invitation only to our members, and are an opportunity for a targeted glance on a topic of interest where we can explore smart growth principles specific to the project or policy. We start with breakfast and networking, and then continue into an educational component followed by expert speakers on the topic. We always include a Q&A component for our members! Not a member?
