Join Erich Zimmermann, Deputy Executive Director and Transportation Director at the National Association of Regional Councils (NARC), to discuss how transportation and other infrastructure can support Smart Growth in Maine with the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
Zimmerman has two decades of experience in federal transportation policy. Erich is responsible for NARC’s transportation portfolio, which includes lobbying for regional priorities on Capitol Hill, working with the executive branch on program implementation, and keeping members informed and engaged. He serves on the Transportation Research Board’s Standing Committee for Transportation Planning Policy and Processes (AEP10) and on the Board of Advisors for the Institute of Transportation Studies at the University of California at Davis. Erich has a B.A. in Political Communication from The George Washington University and a M.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Montana.
