Event Details: If you care about equitable housing and want to brainstorm how to balance preserving a small community’s character with the need for growth, or if you’re simply looking to connect before winter sets in, then this event is for you!
Join us for ‘Smartinis,’ a series of lively social gatherings with a focus on smart growth. While our main goal is to create a fun, engaging environment that raises awareness of GrowSmart Maine, this September’s event will delve into the vital topic of housing. We hope attendees will discuss how to maintain community stability and connectivity as Maine continues to evolve. We are proud to partner with Bath Housing for this event.
Each Smartini event takes place in a different location, and we’re thrilled to be hosting September’s gathering in the charming Downtown Bath at Union + Co. Though the evening is meant to be social, we’ll also have some thought-provoking prompts and a spirited round of “Smart Growth Bingo.” You can enjoy a complimentary drink, with non-alcoholic beverages and light refreshments also available.
This is a free event, but we suggest a donation of $10 – $15. After the event, we encourage you to stick around and enjoy dinner in beautiful downtown Bath.
